Frank Laferriere

Frank is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Mandeville Private Client USA Inc. (“MPC USA”).

He is also Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of MPC USA’s sister company in Canada - Mandeville Private Client Inc. (which is a Canadian Investment Dealer and a member of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC).

Prior to joining the Mandeville group of companies, Frank was the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and a Board Member of Manulife Securities Inc. Frank was with Manulife Securities and its predecessor companies (Berkshire-TWC Financial Group Inc.) for over 12 years. Berkshire-TWC Financial Group was one of Canada’s leading independent wealth management organizations, providing investment and insurance solutions to Canadians across the country. At the end of 9 years, Berkshire grew to 700 advisors across Canada with assets under administration of C$12.7 billion. In 2007 Berkshire was sold to Manulife Financial to form Manulife Securities. Frank remained with Manulife until 2010 at which point Manulife Securities had grown to slightly under $20 billion in assets under administration. Prior to joining Berkshire, Frank also held a number of positions within the Barclays Bank Canadian subsidiaries where he was firstly the Chief Financial Officer for BZW Canada Limited, the broker dealer, and was responsible for all financial, regulatory and operational aspects of the dealership. Prior to Barclays Canada, Frank worked with the Canadian Federal Government where he was a regulator with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and the Canada Revenue Agency. Frank actively serves on industry-related boards and committees in Canada. He has served on the Ontario District Council including as Chair, as well as IIROC’s Finance and Administration Section Committee. Previously, Frank was the Chair of the Private Capital Markets Association of Canada (PCMA) and a member of the Board of Directors of the following: the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA), the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments (OBSI), the Centre for Financial Services Ombuds Network and the Investment Dealers Association of Canada (predecessor to IIROC).
